Summary Case Summary The complainant alleges that respondent has not registered the project with MahaRERA, in spite of the building not having occupancy certificate. The respondent has also not added the complainant’s name on the display board of the said building. The respondent argued by saying that the building is already occupied and therefore is not required to be registered with MahaRERA. The complainant is neither the original buyer nor a new buyer in the said project. Her father is a buyer of an apartment in the building and has already taken possession of the apartment. Conclusion by MahaRERA The complainant has accepted all the facts and has requested for her father’s name to be put on the notice display of the building. The respondent has agreed to do so. Since the building is already occupied, there is no need for registering with RERA. Hence, the complaint is disposed. |
