Summary Case Summary The complainants are NRIs. They claim that the respondent is not working according to the agreement for sale in spite them paying 87% of the value of the flats. The complainants have also claimed that the agreement for sale provided to them is not in accordance with the RERA Act. The respondent was directed to revise the agreement for sale by MahaRERA. The complainant again claimed that the revised Agreement for Sale is also not in compliance with the RERA Act. Also there are some facts which have been changed in the new Agreement for Sale. The respondent was able to counter them all and gave the correct information. Conclusion by MahaRERA The complainants have failed to show that the Agreement for Sale violates the rules of the Act. Considering the status of NRI of complainants, MahaRERA gives them an extended time to decide on executing the new Agreement for Sale of the project and continuing with the project. The order is valid till 31st October 2017. |
