RERA in Telangana

The Real Estate Regulation and Development Authority has responded to all unresolved concerns in the greatest way possible by protecting every individual or entity registered with it. It serves as an all-around armour for everyone involved in real estate transactions, whether they are promoters, real estate brokers, or purchasers. The norms and restrictions, such as registered projects are being updated on a regular basis and a portion of the fund being credited to the bank for building reasons; eliminate key concerns about projects stalling.

On August 4, 2017, Telangana passed the Real Estate Regulatory and Development Act, to legitimize the real estate sector. This is being implemented in order to create a strong, transparent, and reputable real estate sector. The Telangana RERA rules must be followed by all under-construction or start-up real estate projects with a land size of more than 500 square metres and more than six units. This applies to all projects that received permission on or after January 1, 2017. Sri Somesh Kumar, IAS is the Chairperson of TSRERA.
