The complainant filed the complaint claiming the refund of the amounts paid to the respondent towards the purchase and construction of the flat booked with the respondent together with iinterest and compensation.The respondent shall pay the complainants within 30days from the date of issue of this order. Rs.64,31,192-/ with interest at the highest marginal cost of leading rate of interest of SBI, Which is currently 8.70% interest plus 2% per annum till the payment. The compensation at the rate of 9% per annum on the amount of Rs. 64,31,192-/ from their respective dates of payment till repayment. Rs. 25,000-/ towards cost of the litigation to the complainants.
