It also promotes good investments in the sector for real estate. The RERA bill was passed in the Lok Sabha on 15 March 2016.

Every project is required to give completion date while registering the project.
At the time of completion of every project, following guidelines are required to be followed
in MPRERA :-
1. Obtain Completion Certificate from the respective Competent Authority for the Project.
2. Mention actual project completion date as well as the Completion Certificate issue date on the RERA website.
3. Enclose a scanned copy of Completion Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
4. Submit Format 1C - Engineers Certificate on completion status.
5. Submit Format 2C – CA Certificate on completion status.
6. Enclose photographs (at least 5) in which completion of the project along with external development can be ascertained.
7. These documents may be submitted within the period of submission of the quarterly report for the quarter in which the project completed.
