UP RERA Asks 470 Complainants to Submit Bank Details for Refunds

Dated on: Tuesday 11th August 2026

The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP-RERA) has asked 470 complainants to submit updated bank account details so recovered money from promoters can be transferred to them. The authority said refunds in these cases are pending because required bank documents were not provided. Complainants must submit their correct and active bank details through a notarised affidavit on ₹10 stamp paper. Those from NCR districts should submit the affidavit at UP-RERA’s regional office in Gautam Buddha Nagar, while others must approach the Lucknow office. The refund transfer process will begin after the updated details are received.
