MahaRERA Grants 4-Month Extension to Eligible Real Estate Projects
Dated on: Monday 10th August 2026Maharashtra RERA has granted a four-month extension to the completion and registration timelines of eligible real estate projects, citing force majeure linked to disruptions caused by the ongoing West Asia conflict. The relief applies to registered projects whose completion, revised completion or extended completion dates fall on or after February 28, 2026. Projects registered from August 1, 2026 onward are excluded. The extension will be granted automatically, without developers needing to file separate applications. MahaRERA said the decision follows the Centre’s advisory and aims to address construction delays caused by supply-chain disruptions, material shortages and logistics challenges.
