Karnataka RERA -Top bureaucrat of Housing department transferred

The Additional Chief Secretary of Karnataka Housing Department, Dr. Rajeeev Chawla recently got transferred, just a few days ahead of Final Notification.
As per the RERA activists, the sudden transfer of Mr. Rajeev Chawla is creating a vacuum for the interim regulatory authority post.
According to Housing Minister, Mr. M.Krishnappa, this transfer is a part of routine affair.
The Additional Chief Secretary of Karnataka Housing Department, Dr. Rajeeev Chawla recently got transferred, just a few days ahead of Final Notification on the RERA rules. Mr. Chawla had taken the charge recently on 3rd May 2017 and has been working actively for the implementation of RERA in the state. However, now onwards, Mr. Kapil Mohan is appointed at his place.
As per the RERA activists, the sudden transfer of Mr. Rajeev Chawla is creating a vacuum for the interim regulatory authority post. It may result in a delay of the application of the RERA Karnataka rules.
According to Housing Minister, Mr. M.Krishnappa, this transfer is a part of the routine affair. The RERA Act came into force on May 1, 2016.
