Haryana RERA Awards ₹50 Lakh Compensation to Homebuyer After 13-Year Delay

The Authority held the builder accountable for the prolonged delay, observing that the buyer suffered financial loss and unnecessary hardship due to the non-delivery of the property. The order reinforces the principle that developers must honour their contractual commitments and comply with the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016.
