Telangana RERA Fines Bharathi Builders ₹4.7 Crore for Illegal Pre-Launch Sales
Dated on: Monday 16th March 2026The Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority has imposed a penalty of ₹4.7 crore on Bharathi Builders Pvt Ltd for conducting pre-launch sales without registering the project under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016. The builder reportedly collected money from homebuyers before obtaining mandatory approval for the project in Hyderabad. RERA ruled that such actions violate the law and ordered the developer to return the collected funds with applicable interest. The authority also advised buyers to verify a project’s RERA registration before making any property investment
