UP RERA Recovers Rs 128 Crore for Homebuyers in 2023, Total Recoveries Cross Rs 1,360 Crore

UP RERA retrieved Rs 128 crore in 2023 for over 350 homebuyers awaiting property possession. Since launch, it has helped recover Rs 1,360 crore for nearly 5,500 affected buyers. Around 8,800 recovery certificates (RCs) worth Rs 2,400 crore have been issued, with Rs 1,200 crore successfully resolved. However, enforcement remains slow in areas like Noida, where only a small portion of dues has been recovered due to legal hurdles. Despite regional challenges, UP RERA continues efforts to ensure accountability and financial justice for buyers across the state.
