RERA in Puducherry

RERA Rules in Puducherry are notified on 31st October/ 2016 and it's in line with Central Act. In this territory, RERA was supposed to be implemented from 1st May 2017 but still, authority is not yet come to the framework and no registration work is started yet. RERA Fees for Promoters and Real Estate Agent are already mentioned in the notified rules. In Puducherry for a broker registration charges under RERA will be Rs. 10,000 as individual registration and Rs. 50,000 for other entities. RERA in Puducherry will be applicable to both ongoing and new launched project. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation is an agency of the Government of India responsible for controlling RERA in all Union Territories.
