RERA in Odisha

Odisha Real Estate Regulatory Authority was established on October 7, 2017 in compliance with Section-30 of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act 2016, which was approved through Parliamentary legislation and went into effect on May 1, 2017. The Act is intended to regulate and promote the real estate sector through the Authority's quasi-judicial institutional framework. The Authority's mandate is to increase transparency in real estate transactions, with a primary focus on protecting consumers' interests.
