Builder to pay more fees for RERA Registration of projects
Dated on: Thursday 19th April 2018Rajasthan RERA authority has decided to remove maximum cap limit of Registration amount. Now promoters have to pay registration fees for the total area of land or plot. Presently, the promoters have to pay Rs 5 per square meter as registration fee to register plotted residential housing scheme with RERA. The maximum registration fee cap under this category is Rs 2 lakh. A senior official at RERA said, “The registration fee of the project will be calculated on the basis of per square meter. The fee will be imposed depending on the size of the plot. At present, we have fixed minimum and maximum registration fee. Even if the plot area is big, the promoters have to pay the maximum registration fee to register with RERA.”
