Bihar RERA Steps Up Recovery of Homebuyer Dues

Bihar RERA has launched a focused drive to speed up the recovery of pending payments from builders who have failed to comply with its orders. The authority is strengthening enforcement to ensure affected homebuyers receive their dues without unnecessary delays. In recent cases, significant amounts were recovered from defaulting developers, bringing financial relief to buyers. Bihar RERA has also empowered senior officials to act as Certificate Officers for faster recovery proceedings. The initiative aims to improve compliance with RERA orders, hold errant builders accountable, and provide homebuyers with a more effective mechanism for recovering money owed to them.
