HP RERA Penalizes Chester Hill Projects for Violations

Each project was fined ₹35 lakh due to issues such as improper financial management, misuse of homebuyers’ funds, and failure to maintain separate project accounts. Authorities also found deviations from approved building plans and lack of transparency in operations. Complaints further highlighted possession offered without necessary approvals. RERA has directed the promoters to deposit the penalty within 30 days and submit proper financial records, while warning of stricter action if compliance is not ensured.
