Telangana RERA Lets Homebuyers Finish Stalled Housing Projects

Using provisions under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, the authority revoked the builder’s registration and permitted the association of allottees to oversee project completion. The decision aims to safeguard buyers’ investments and ensure delayed projects do not remain unfinished. In some cases around Hyderabad, buyers have already resumed construction work. The step highlights RERA’s role in protecting homebuyers and resolving issues caused by inactive or defaulting developers.
