Karnataka RERA Makes Parking Slot Disclosure Mandatory in Sale Agreements
Dated on: Monday 5th January 2026Karnataka Real Estate Regulatory Authority (K-RERA) has directed developers to clearly mention parking slot details in all new sale agreements. The rule mandates specifying the number and location of parking spaces allotted to each homebuyer, along with applicable charges. This move aims to reduce disputes and confusion over parking allocation, which has been a common complaint among buyers. The updated requirement covers all fresh project registrations and will help ensure transparency in disclosures. Projects already registered earlier will follow the previously approved terms. K-RERA said this step will strengthen buyer rights and improve clarity in real estate contracts.
