Gujarat RERA Launches New SOP to Speed Up Homebuyer Grievance Redressal

The Gujarat Real Estate Regulatory Authority (GujRERA) has introduced a new Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to improve and speed up grievance redressal for homebuyers. The revised system focuses on digital filing of complaints, mandatory submission of relevant documents, and clearly defined timelines for each stage of the process. Complaints will be categorised to ensure focused handling, while buyers can track case progress, hearing schedules, and orders through the online portal. By standardising procedures and improving transparency, GujRERA aims to reduce delays, strengthen accountability, and enhance confidence among homebuyers and stakeholders in the dispute resolution mechanism.
