RERA in Madhya Pradesh
On October 22, 2016, Madhya Pradesh notified the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act Rules. Madhya Pradesh's RERA went into effect on May 10, 2017. Madhya Pradesh is the country's second state to implement RERA, behind Maharashtra.
The state has also developed the official RERA MP portal (rera.mp.gov.in) to answer home buyers' complaints about errant developers.
